Roosevelt Community Garden

The Roosevelt Community Garden is a collaborative project between North Shore Land Alliance, Inc. and Nassau County Government. Nestled near the center of Roosevelt on Fulton Ave between Babylon Turnpike and Nassau Rd (aka Julius W. Erving Ave), the garden was established in 2018 as per the North Shore Land Alliance’s website to, “…provide people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds with a quiet and enjoyable space to grow organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs…”

It is managed by Roosevelt resident Andrea Millwood, who is an Associate Director at North Shore Land Alliance, Inc.
